Gaelic Storm - Live in Concert!
Musically, Gaelic Storm’s compelling originals and fresh arrangements steeped in Celtic traditional melody combined with their unique blend of world rhythms continue to broaden the musical horizons of the Celtic music genre creating new standards for generations to come. Highlights from their decade-spanning career include six Billboard Chart topping albums, a DVD, a full-length concert film featured on HD.net in 2007-2008, song placement on two EA Sports Games, a 2008 Hallmark greeting card featuring their song “Kiss Me I’m Irish”, countless television and radio appearances, and of course, an appearance in James Cameron’s Titanic. Gaelic Storm has sold out hundreds of theatres and performing arts centers and has now played to audiences totaling in the millions.

The Second City
This performance will feature some of the best sketches, songs, and improvisations from The Second City’s forty-five plus year history.
Founded in Chicago in 1959, The Second City has become the premier training ground for the comedy world’s best and brightest. Their alumni list reads like a who’s who of American comedy, as it includes: Mike Nichols, Elaine May, Alan Arkin, Joan Rivers, Robert Klein, Peter Boyle, Harold Ramis, John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, George Wendt, Martin Short, John Candy, Bonnie Hunt, Tim Meadows, Chris Farley, Mike Myers, Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Horatio Sanz, Ryan Stiles and countless others.

Amazingly the theatre seats are still the original seats installed in 1929 when the theatre opened. This is no surprise to anyone who attends events at the theatre as they are witness to the uncomfortable and worn seats. After nearly 80 years it is now time to retire the existing seats and join together as a community to reclaim the glamour of the Egyptian.
The Egyptian Theatre Seating Sponsorship Campaign offers you a unique opportunity to create a prominent legacy in this historic landmark. Your donation to the Egyptian Theatre will place the name of your family, friend or business in the spotlight. Your donation is commemorated with a personalized engraving on an elegant brass plaque that will be mounted on a new seat. All other financial donations towards the seating sponsorship campaign will be recognized on a plaque in the theatre lobby.
