Comedian Ron “Tater Salad” White best known as the cigar smoking, scotch drinking funnyman from the “Blue Collar Comedy” phenomenon returns to Dekalb with his new stand-up show Behavioral Problems.
Ron White has accomplished two Grammy nominations, a Gold Record, two of the top rated one-hour specials in Comedy Central history, a book that appeared on the New York Times Best Seller List, and CD and DVD sales of over 10 million units.
Tournees French Film Festival
The Tournées Film Festival is a series of five contemporary European films sponsored by the Northern Illinois University Film Society with the support of a grant from the French Ministry of Cultural Affairs and the NIU Departments of English and Foreign Language and Literatures.
The NIU Film Society will bring European cinema to DeKalb with five films selected to showcase a variety of styles and genres with appeals to a variety of tastes.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show is an outrageous assemblage of the most stereo-typed science fiction movies, Marvel comics, Frankie Avalon/Annette Funicello outings and rock 'n' roll of every vintage. Running through the story is the sexual confusion of two middle American Ike Age kids confronted by the complications of the decadent morality of the 70's, represented in the person of the mad 'doctor' Frank N Furter, a transvestite from the planet Transexual in the galaxy of Transylvania. Rated R.

This is no surprise to anyone who attends events at the theatre as they are witness to the uncomfortable and worn seats. After nearly 80 years it is now time to retire the existing seats and join together as a community to reclaim the glamour of the Egyptian.
The Egyptian Theatre Seating Sponsorship Campaign offers you a unique opportunity to create a prominent legacy in this historic landmark. Your donation to the Egyptian Theatre will place the name of your family, friend or business in the spotlight. Your donation is commemorated with a personalized engraving on an elegant brass plaque that will be mounted on a new seat. All other financial donations towards the seating sponsorship campaign will be recognized on a plaque in the theatre lobby.
