Egyptian Theatre Haunted Tour
Take a tour of the theatre and experience a side of the Egyptian Theatre that most never see. You will be filled in on paranormal activity and ghost sightings that have taken place. You will be split up into groups to investigate the ghosts and sightings to see if you can find your own evidence and hopefully experience paranormal events!
Your Tour and Investigation into the unknown will be guided by The Illinois Ghost Hunters, a very well known and highly respected paranormal investigation team with many years of experience.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is an outrageous assemblage of the most stereo-typed science fiction movies, Marvel comics, Frankie Avalon/Annette Funicello outings and rock 'n' roll of every vintage. Running through the story is the sexual confusion of two middle American Ike Age kids confronted by the complications of the decadent morality of the 70's, represented in the person of the mad 'doctor' Frank N Furter, a transvestite from the planet Transexual in the galaxy of Transylvania. Rated R.

Amazingly the theatre seats are still the original seats installed in 1929 when the theatre opened. This is no surprise to anyone who attends events at the theatre as they are witness to the uncomfortable and worn seats. After nearly 80 years it is now time to retire the existing seats and join together as a community to reclaim the glamour of the Egyptian.
The Egyptian Theatre Seating Sponsorship Campaign offers you a unique opportunity to create a prominent legacy in this historic landmark. Your donation to the Egyptian Theatre will place the name of your family, friend or business in the spotlight. Your donation is commemorated with a personalized engraving on an elegant brass plaque that will be mounted on a new seat. All other financial donations towards the seating sponsorship campaign will be recognized on a plaque in the theatre lobby.
